Client’s Concern About Musty Odor and Mold

Our Mold Testing and Inspection Process

Our ACAC-certified inspector conducted a systematic investigation of all occupied office areas and the call center, with focused sampling at HVAC air supply and return ducting throughout the building. Using air sampling equipment, surface swabs, and visual assessment, the mold inspection evaluated both airborne exposure levels and direct surface contamination.

Findings evaluated included:

• Indoor air quality samples collected from multiple occupied workspaces
• Direct surface samples from HVAC supply vents and return air ducting
• Visual assessment of ceiling tiles, walls, and areas near ventilation registers
• Moisture readings in areas showing visible staining or discoloration

Resolution & Results

All air and surface samples were submitted to an accredited laboratory for analysis. Results identified elevated mold levels within the HVAC ducting, consistent with active contamination being distributed through the ventilation system. Management received a detailed report with lab results and photographs to support remediation planning and employee communications.
